Royal Public Schools is inviting interested companies to submit proposals to conduct and operate an afterschool program on-site.

Project Name : High-Quality Afterschool Program

Scope of the Project

The purpose and scope of the project is to design and implement a high-quality Afterschool program to support Royal Public School students.   The bidder and/or the applicant will be responsible for designing and implementing afterschool programs that accelerate learning by:

• Providing a safe and healthy environment after the school day for all students at no additional cost to ensure full access.
• Including themes and activities based in student needs that are both academic and enriching in nature.
• Delivering targeted academic support –that meets requirements of HB 4545 -aligned with individual student needs, high quality curriculum and instruction and the regular school day.

Requirements of the program:

• Student attendance for at least 4 days per week for 3 hours per day afterschool (see sample schedule).
• A staff-to-student ratio of 1:15 or lower within the afterschool program or 1:3 for a High Impact Tutoring Model
• At least 1 hour of academics per day
• A designated full-time staff member to oversee afterschool project
• Enrichment aligned to student need and interest (e.g., STEM, reading/ELA, health and arts)
